Am I eligible for O2 Mobilfunk-Kunde with a new O2 prepaid sim card?

Greetings!

Recently, I am thinking of switching from AldiTalk to O2 Mobile, in order to be eligible to receive a 10 Euro discount.

  • i am currently an AldiTalk (SIM) customer
  • i have O2 DSL at home, active since years, recently applied for contract extension for a better speed (received “Personal Angebot” from O2 English-speaking landline, just accepted)

If I order an O2 prepaid sim card (and also transfer my AldiTalk-originating-number onto the that sim card) and start using it, will i be eligible for 10 Euro discount*? OR, is it only possible for postpaid cards?
Are there anything/fineprint that i need to be aware of? I am planning to get this one https://www.o2-freikarte.de/prepaid-tarife/flextarife/prepaid-s/ .

If so, should I apply/write to any place after I do so?
Since I’m already a DSL customer, and already extended my contract, maybe this discount wouldn’t apply to me?

Bist du bereits O2 Mobilfunk-Kunde?

Dann bekommst du dauerhaft 10 € mtl. Rabatt auf DSL und unbegrenztes Datenvolumen für deinen Mobilfunk-Vertrag.

You only get combi-parts with postpaid contracts

I see.

How about this one? O2 Mobile S
https://www.o2online.de/assets/blobs/pdfs/1_po_o2-mobile-s_2024_1.0-download

But one thing i didn’t understand is:

  • prepaid S (10 GB/month) is 10 Euro per month
  • mobile S (10 GB/month) base price is 20 Euro, when I click on “o2 kunden”, the price is displayed to be 10 Euro.

How come:

  • from end-user perspective, the same service cost differently based on prepaid/postpaid?
  • more important for me, is if I’m paying 40 Euros for o2 DSL, and if I subscribe to mobile S for 24 months, then the price I would pay for both in total is 50 Euros, am I correct? (40 Euros DSL + 20 Eurso mobile MINUS 10 Euro discount)?

Yes, prepaid and postpaid cost different, but prepaid only runs for 28 days.
With the o2 Mobile S you get a EUR 10 combination advantage on your landline contract.

To verify, how much would I pay in total, i still didn’t fully understand.

Currently, only O2 product that I use at home is DSL, and I pay 40 Euros for it per month.
O2 Mobile S, when i select that I’m a customer, is presented as 10 Euros (from 20 to 10, since I am an existing customer, as I understand).

So, in total, which math is correct:

  1.  DSL (40 Euros) + Mobile (20 Euros) - Discount (10 Euros) = 50 Euros
  2. DSL (40 Euros) + Mobile (20 Euros - Discount*2 (20 Euros) = 40 Euros

I think the 1st is correct, the 2nd sounds too good to be true.
But officially, which one is true?
