@egorL You found the right forum. Your Upgrade will run in two steps. In two, three days an o2 moderator will start a new speed check for your adress. The update for database will up to three, four days. After this you can decide what tariff you want.
Did you have own router hardware or an o2 rent Router? If you have a rent router, you want rent again or buy by yourself?
I prefer a Fritzbox 7530 or 7590 because of the english system menu.
@Joe Doe thanks for a prompt response and pro-active actions in solving this. I have a rental o2 Router, which i would gladly upgrade to a newer Model if its available under the same conditions.
In the mean time i will keep on looking for updates on your DSL availability checker.
@egorL If you want a 250 Mbit VDSL (my Home XL) you need a Fritzbox 7530 or 7590 (Super Vectoring) Rent for a Fritzbox 7590 is 5,99 Euro. If I am you, i will calculate the rent and buy the Fritzbox by myself.
Hi @Joe Doe ,
I have just validated my address again and noticed no change despite of the fact that you mentioned it might take up to 7 working days to update the DSL availability, while as of today we got the 8th working day ongoing.

Hi @egorL
Welcome to our o2 community. I am sorry for the late reply, but @Joe Doe did a perfect job and told you already everything you have to know.
I have just checked your address. SV DSL up to 250Mbit should be available, but our o2 database is not up to date, so i have just sent a short note to our IT Colleagues, they will will update the datbase.
This process will take between 3 to 5 workdays. After that we can start the upgrade process for your DSL contract.
I have a rental o2 Router, which i would gladly upgrade to a newer Model if its available under the same conditions.
I am afraid thats not possbile. If you want to rent a Fritzbox 7590 from us the router charges will be 5,99 Euro per month and a one time fee of 59,98 Euro for activation and shipping.
Best Regards o2 Matze
Hi @o2_Matze thank you for following this up. Just validated and all is up to date.
Thank you both @Joe Doe and @o2_Matze for great support and proactive resolution.

I just checked the options for self service on the o2 portal and i did not find a way to change/update my current contract, the only option that i see is applying for a new one, where off course the Connection Fee applies which i have already paid once. Is there a possibility to update my contract to the O2 my Home L with 1 month contract length without the connectivity fee.
Thank you.
-egor
@egorL You can only change the tariff over hotline or here over an o2 moderator. I strongly prefer an o2 moderator. You don’t need to pay tariff change fee, because you choose a higher tariff.
You want change to my Home L Flex (one month contract) correct? The monthly price from 34,99 Euro for the my Home L Flex you know too.
@Joe Doe thanks for a prompt reply.
Correct it is the Home L Flex (one month contract) 100Mbit/s. Is there a way to apply the so called “Kombi-Vorteil” since i already have a Mobile Phone Contract with o2 Germany anyhow? And it seems like i should be eligible for it.
I would gladly proceed with the o2 Moderator option, do i need to create a separate ticket/thread?
Thanks

@egorL Mobile and DSL contract must move to same customer number. An o2 Moderator can do this too. I think in 1-3 days the moderator will contact you over this thread.
Hello @egorL,
a change to the o2 my Home L (flex) is definetly possible. The router you recieved from us will work fine with a 100MBit/s connection.
You already recieve the Kombivorteil on the DSL tariff that you are using right now, to recieve it in the future it is necessary to move your mobile contract to the DSL contract. You then will recieve one invoice for both DSL and mobile, if you have invoices or other documents under your current mobile tariff that you need I recommend to download them so you have this documents save if ouy need them.
If you want to change your DSL tariff please have a look at the Produktinformationsblatt and get back in touch with us here so we can arrange verything else :-)
Regards,
Lars
Hi @o2_Lars ,
Thank you for your advice.
I have checked the Product information sheet you provided.
Could you kindly migrate my accounts O2 my Home L Flex (Festnetz) and O2 Free L Boost (Mobilfunk) into one.
Thanks, looking forward to your reply.
@o2_Lars i suppose that should not make my mobile contract more expensive, would it?
@o2_Lars Can you kindly give me an approximate time estimate when can this migration and DSL contract upgrade take place?
Thank you!
Hi @egorL,
thanks for your patience.
I have just migrated your mobile phone contract with the tariff “o2 Free L Boost” to your DSL-contract. The process will take 24 hours. So from tomorrow onward, your DSL- and your mobile phone-contract will be under the same customer account-number. The change is free of charge, of course.
Afterwards, I will order the tariff change for your DSL-contract to the tariff “o2 my Home L Flex” tomorrow.
So, just wait for 48 hours. You will receive several confirmations by e-mail.
I will come back to you tomorrow, after I have ordered everything for you.
Until then have a nice evening.
Loving greetings,
Tobias
Hi @egorL,
congratulations! The migration of your mobile phone contract to the customer number of your DSL-contract was successful.
This means for your next extension of your mobile phone contract, you have the possibility to get the combination-discount (Kombivorteil).
From now onward, you will only receive one invoice that includes the DSL- and the mobile phone-contract.
I will now send you an offer for your DSL-contract for the tariff “o2 my Home L Flex” via private message at @o2_VVL. Please reply there to my offer.
Thanks a lot.
Loving greetings,
Tobias
Hi again @egorL,
thanks for confirming the offer for the tariff-change “o2 my Home L Flex” at @o2_VVL.
The tariff-change will take place on 5th November 2020. You will be informed still by e-mail about that.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us here in our English community.
Loving greetings,
