Unable to login and change mac address for Fritzbox

Hi,

I first took out a Cable contract with a switch from vodafone which was not successful. Then I cancelled it and again took out a completely new contract.

The contract should start on 15.09.2025. I received a mail with contract details, and my landline number. 

 

But, I'm unable to login to my o2 and can give my Fritzbox MAC-Adress (i already have a Fritzbox). I called the English hotline, but they said the contract should be activated on time and I should call the activation hotline (who speaks only German). So, that was a dead end. 

 

I now don't have any Internet and no way to know what happened with my contract.

@zolomon Have you registered over your landline number here?

@Joe Doe it just gives me unknown landline number error. The number is not recognized. So cannot register.

@zolomon So the new o2 landline number can’t been registered? That's very strange.

But identifying yourself on the hotline using your o2 landline number and your four-digit customer code works? No error?
