Hi,

Earlier this week my DSL plan has changed from S to L. I have received an email from O2 that the activation was successful, however ever since my router is not able to connect to the internet.

On my O2 homebox the DSL led slowly blinks. Wheras the WLAN led flashes faster.

I have been on the phone with the ENG costumer service multiple times over the past 2 days. And every time I am being redirected to the technical team. After waiting on hold for an hour the connection is disrupted, repeatedly.

Please help.

Did you perform the necessary factory reset? If you forgot this, you still have to do it. Press the recessed reset button for at least 10 seconds and set up the o2 homebox afterwards.

Hi, I have tried a full factory reset earlier this morning but without success. The led lights (both dsl and wlan) are consistent at the moment, however none of my devices is able to connect to the router.

I have tried using the O2 service app in order to set up the router but my phone is unable to connect (tested on multiple phones)

If the DSL control light is permanently green, there is a DSL synchronisation. This is good and exactly as it should be.
If you have problems with your smartphone, it is recommended that you connect a PC or notebook to the o2 Homebox via a LAN cable and call up the configuration interface (http://o2.box) in the web browser.

Hello @mediocre and welcome to our o2 community :-)

If you want to reconnect to your DSL router after resetting it, any personalized passwords will no longer work. You will find the name of the wifi network and the network key on a sticker on the bottom of the router. Of course you can also connect a PC via a LAN cable and should have no isses connecting to the router :-)

Regards,

Lars
