Is the error that you receive just that the username or password is incorrect or is it something else? You can check the correct internet login data in your mein o2. If the error that you receive is something else, then it’d help if you told us what exactly the router is saying. That way we can help you here.

The problem is that when I input my details I don't know what to choose in the provider field : is O2 vdsl

O2 ADSL / via Telekom line…

Where should I look for this info? In my O2 I can't find it.

o2 VDSL should be fine for your contract. Username and Password you can then find in mein o2 by going to your DSL contract under Tarif & Optionen → Vertrag verwalten → Zugangsdaten für den Router. The following page should then link all relevant info you’d need to setup your hardware.

At the moment I am at work, when I get home I will try to make again the settings. I am using the router app on may mobile to make this config. Is ok? Or should I connect the modem directly to my laptop and make the settings on a browser page? 

Unfortunately is not working. 

In the router manual when orange led /internet is on then the internet connection is incorrect and synchronization failed.

What can I do?

what dsl username and password you use? Have the dsl username @s92 in the name?

How you enter the username/password? Type in or Copy&Paste?

Sadly just after few hours the router died. 

New product, bought few days ago.

@cybrg4life WHAT. 😱 All LED’s off?

Yes All led off. No power. Nothing 

This is new to me, never before this happened with more or less "shady" products.

I thought TP link is "ok" in quality, but is a first for everything. 

@cybrg4life Is this a new router or used buy one?

I think the power supply is 12V/2A output??

New router, and yes is 12V/2A output, I'm going Friday to guarantee in MediaMarkt 

@cybrg4life Have Mediamarkt exchanged today the defect router or power supply without any problems?

I just finished setting up the new router, went to MediaMarkt and they exchange the faulty one with a new one. Hope this one lasts more than few hours! 

@cybrg4life you use the same model?
