Hi Jonathan19L,

your o2 Blue All-in M Flex is just the mobile tariff that I have here. ☺️

Or do you mean that you also have a DSL-contract?

For the cancellation you just have to write a letter or a fax and send it to the company with mentioning your account number and the telephone number.

Therefore you do not need an extra form.

Kind regards,

Jessica

Hello lalida,

your contract will get deactivated at the 27th of May!

And yes, you will receive an invoice afterwards. I don't know exactly when. 😀

Kind regards,

Jessica

Hello Jessica, thanks for answering !

Yeah I do have a DSL contract, with a homebox.

I already sent the letter specifying the o2 Blue All-in M flex and "DSL vertrag" contract, I hope it is alright.

Also sent the homebox at the sametime, hope everything will be fine.

Anyway thanks again for the answer.

I'll check back here again if something is not right

Sorry for double post but I noticed the adresse changes depending on what do I choose to cancel.

I put

Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG

Überseering

22297 Hamburg

which i hope is alright for DSL and mobile contract.

Also, I read about priority notice, do I need that at all or just a letter should be fine ?

Thanks again in advance

Hi Jonathan19L,

the Überseering 33 in Hamburg ist the correct adress für canceling your DSL contract.

A normal letter should be fine.

As I can see, we already received your notice.

My colleagues will process it as soon as possible and send you a written confirmation.

Best,

Christian

Hi Jonathon,  on Saturday may 21, I sent a fax from the o2 store in neukölln,  Berlin,  confirming I was moving abroad and needed to cancel my contract. I included my Abmeldung with the fax, and posted the dsl modem on the 24th May. Are you able to confirm these were received? Thanks in  advance.

Hi amcev1234,

we received your cancellation.

We have bookmarked the deactivation of your line to the 07th of June.

Also your router has arrived back at us, so everything looks fine.

Christian

Hi Jessica,

I am also leaving Germany in 6 weeks and thus need to cancel my contract. Please could you send me the specific circumstances cancellation form. I won't de-register for another few weeks, it is ok to send this form so close to my departure date? Is it better to send the form now without my de-registration but with a work contract showing I am only employed until the 31st July and proof of my new address in the UK? I understand that a 3 month fee will need to be paid, will this be charged in a lump sum as I will need to close my bank account around a month after I leave?

Thank you for your help.

Kyra

Hello,

I would like to ask whether I could pay the remaining amount of my O2 phone contract if yes then how and how much?

Thanks in advance,

Hello,

I would like to terminate my o2 DSL contract at the beginning of July because I already finished my study in Berlin. I plan to just terminate my internet as soon as possible, even if I'll just leave Germany at the end of July.

I already visit the o2 shop - in where I made my contract for the first time. Then, they suggest me to send o2 a post under the address: Telefonica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG: Uberseering 33a, 22297 Hamburg. I already sent o2 a letter on 17 June 2016. After a couple days someone from o2 call me, to ask the reason why I want to terminate my contract. I just simply said that "I already finished my study and I'll go home to Indonesia". Then the person who called me said "Ok, we will send you a letter".

And today I just received a post by o2 that stated, "Unfortunately we have no choice but to discuss your request later".

I really don't get it.

Actually what the quickest/best way to terminate my contract. Because I need to leave Germany on 31 July 2016. And I don't want get into trouble just because the termination process is take a long time and I don't have a long time to deal with it. I need your suggestion, information and response regarding my internet termination request. FYI, I'll close my German bank account before 31 July 2016.

Thanks.

Canny

Hello,

An engineer visited the flat a month ago and Concluded that O2 service is not available for the property.

A customer service agent called me a few days later on to clarifiy the situation of the technical difficulties and the agent agreed to null the service contact.

Another agnet called me a few days later on to null the contract but she did not speak any English so asked me to wait for another call back. But I havent heard since then.

I still have the unboxed modem delivered by DHL - I will visit the post office to return to the sender today.

Whats the current status of the original monthly contract? Has it been nulled successfully? Do I need to take any actions on this case where the O2 connection is not possible?

Thank you

Hi,

Can someone help me by telling me how I can cancel my DSL line and mobile phone contract for the 31/08/16?

Thanks

Scottish94, you'll notice there's been no o2 people herein this thread for about a month so you may have to wait some time for a real reply. I'm still waiting for my own reply...

I can tell you that for the DSL you only need to write them a letter (I think one of the messages above mentions it) telling them when you want it cancelled. I think for mobile you have to go through this site and you'll find a form for it. If it's because you're leaving the country then they'll want an abmeldung form too...

Then they'll write you a letter back telling you that they are going to consider it and reminding you how long your contract is really for. I don't know what happens next because, although I first asked about it in April/May, it's slow enough that I already left the country and don't even know if they cancelled it. Useless service, IMO...

In my case, I tried to do this well in advance, but I really don't think there is any motivation to help you through this 'community'. If you're lucky one of their team will come through and reply but if you want it sorted out then I would recommend calling and asking for an English speaker because it's bound to be faster than here.

Hello allenkf,

I have now sent you the needed form to your e-mail address with which you are registered here.

Actually the company needs the deregistration form.

But for now it should also be ok to send all the forms that you mentioned. It's very important to do that whole thing as early as possible.

And yes, you're going to get a final revision, that needs to be charged from a bank account. Otherwise you will also have overdue fines and so on...

And I'm really sorry for the late response. At the moment we have some challenges because of the huge amount of questions in the forum. But we still try to do our best.

Otherwise there is also the hotline, where you can say that you want an English speaking employee to call you back, or the chat.

I'm not working on DSL. But I told my colleagues to check the DSL questions here.

Kind regards,

Jessica

Hi again

I'm still waiting for information. Unfortunately it took so long that, as I informed o2 months ago, according to plan, I have now left Germany.

This means that I have no idea if the connection was cancelled or not. I see that the contract information online still reads 2.7.2017, which suggests that the connection has not been cancelled.

As you know, I first asked about this in May, and I posted the abmeldung and the router back at the end of June.

I don't know what else I can do now. I posted a couple of messages in another thread, but nobody is replying there...

Hi Marc,

I need to cancel my contract as I am leaving the country this month. can you please send me the form that i need to mail.

Thanks.

regards,

Sruti

Hi o2_Marc!

I was a student here for 2 years and I got a contract for internet for exactly 2 years. When i got it I asked specifically for this period. So I didn't know that the contract is automatically extended considering I mentioned the period of time I will be here for. Several times I was offered misleading information at the O2 shop (Munich, Karlsplatz).

I have sent a letter of cancellation to Hamburg a month ago and I have received an email that my contract will be canceled on Sept 2017. However, I am leaving Germany this week. I have the papers that state I no longer reside in Germany. Could you please tell me what is the procedure?

Benutzerebene 7
Hello @srudgr8‌,

here you find the needed form for a mobile contract.

Please hand in all the needed documents that are mentioned there.

Kind regards,

Jessica ☺️

Benutzerebene 7
Hello @DE13708518‌,

for a contract cancellation of your DSL contract because of moving abroad you need to write a cancellation letter to the office in Hamburg, with the reason and the date when you're leaving.

As well you need to hand in the document of your deregistration, and your new registration of your new place of residence or the confirmation of your new employer!

And the last thing is a confirmation that the company is allowed to charge 3 months of basic fees as a replacement.

That's all they need. I don't work on DSL, but I guess you also have to send back your router that you're using.

Just call the customer hotline about everything.

The cancellation won't be done in just one week or so. It takes some time. So please make sure that the company can charge the fees of your bank account and so on.

Here you have the address of Hamburg again:

Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG

Postfach 60 09 40

22209 Hamburg

Kind regards,

Jessica
