Take over DSL contract of customer who can't login

Hello,

I would like to take over a DSL contract from one of your customers, but we have a problem. He can't login to his account to change the contract ownership. He doesn't have his “Nutzername” nor his “Rufnummer”. O2 says his email address is incorrect (even though it’s the one that’s registered with his account, apparently). But he has all other important personal information, such as the pin number. Neither of us can speak German very well, so that's why I'm using this channel instead of calling the hotline.

Could you reset his password or give him his account number and landline number? I can also give you his mobile number and email address so you can reach him directly if there are privacy concerns.

Hello @rielake and welcome to our o2 community :-)

The user of a contract will find the öandline number in of of the first E-Mails that we sent, titled “Willkommen bei o2”. With the landline number it is possible to register as a DSL customer on our o2 portal. The phone number is also visible in the web frontend of the DSl router if set up correctly.

He can also reach agents answering in english via our online chat. You find all possibilites of contact here.

Regards,

Lars

Hi, thank you for your help. I’m sorry I didn’t respond earlier, I had to create another account to write this haha.

He has called the hotline and found out it’s an issue that has to do with his personal ID number. I don’t know what this is referring to exactly, but it seems it’s an issue that will soon be resolved.
