my colleague checked it now for you.

He said that you already had contact to the hotline.

The cancellation process ended in an error as he said (I don't know how to say that properly in English but I think you know what I mean), and the operating department is informed. In the system is an entry that this was already explained to you, last time at the 19th of December.

This should all be solved soon!

when you have the deregistration form you can also contact us here, and send it to us via private message in this forum. As I am informed this option is available again.

So, just contact us then, and I'll transfer that to the Sonderkündigung department, so that they can conclude everything. ☺️

To be honest now I am really worried about the situation and want to solve the problem as soon as possible. Yes I had a contact a couple of days ago but actually I didn`t understand what kind of error is the problem. Would you be so kind to explain in details. I am pretty sure that it is not my fault and  I did everything on the termination procedure properly. Yesterday I send a letter to O2 in Hamburg  as your colleague recommended in which I explained my problem and attached copies of contract termination confirmation notes which I received by post while I was in Berlin, confirmation from DHL for successful delivery of the router. I am not sure when the letter will be there, may be in two weeks.

What else can I do to solve the problem? What would you recommend to do?

Can you please check if my cancellation process is complete. I sent my documents a week ago. I am told that my documents reached the company. It is very important for me to cancel within time as it is charging me alot of money and I've left the country.

I have sent a fax today with all the documents for cancellation of my contract. There was a huge delay from my side in finding a way to fax as it is used very less nowadays. I hope my fax has reached.

Kindly let me know if the documents are now visible in my account for the cancellation process to begin. I am assuming that as I have sent only today, this may take some time.

I have now unlocked you for the private messges.

When you want to send a message with an attached picture you have to go into your own stream, press the button for "Nachricht senden" (sending a message), put o2_Support as the addressee and there is another icon to upload a picture. ☺️

there is no deregistration form of the city of Germany. And no letter of agreement that o2 is allowed to charge 3 monthly basic fees as a replacement.

Those documents are still missing.

And please keep in mind that the process of the extraordinary dismissal always takes a little longer.

Dear Jessica,

Thank you for releasing the private message option to me. As soon i have the Abmeldebestätigung i will send the scanned copies to o2_Support. However this i can do this only in the last week's of my stay in Germany, so i hope the Sonderkündigung team will be able to complete the closure immediately (As informed by them through eMail).Intending to close my Bank account will also by end of the same month.

I have now unlocked you for the private messages to our account @o2_Support‌.

Here is an explanation how you send a private message with an attached document:

- click on your own Username on top of the page, right corner. In that new window you open "Mein Stream und Aktivitäten"

- in that new window click on "Mein Stream"

- there you have to click on "Nachricht senden" (sending message)

- put in o2_Support as the addressee und right next to the "Absenden" (sending) button you find the icon to attach a picture.

Sometimes that doesn't work in our community. We had some problems with that feature the last months, since we moved to a new platform. If that doesn't work you'd have to send it via Fax or anything.

Thank you for your form. I have a little concern about:

- "a notification of your new, foreign domicile alternatively a confirmation of your employer or landlord". Could you  please specify more detail. Is the airplane ticket or a proof of leaving Germany (photo in the visa) possible?. 

- When I leave Germany I also close my bank account, therefore could you charge the all-inclusive basic fee for 3 months before 19th January 2017.

First of all- Happy New Year and I hope you had a good holiday.

Wanted to follow up with my sonderkündigung request. Unfortunately I didn't hear back from the company even though you gave me the great news confirming that the package (containing all the necessary documents & proof) that I sent has arrived.

I imagine that I'll most likely still need to send my abmeldebestätigung, which is okay as mentioned a couple months ago I am on track with leaving Berlin for good at the end of the month. If my abmeldebestätigung is still needed to commence the request, I am planning to get it by the the week of the 23rd January.

If that's the case and you don't mind, I'd also like to have direct messaging contact with you so that I can instantly send the document once I have it on hand. Hope that'd be possible.

Hope for your response and suggestions for next steps. Looking forward.

Hello haipv,

no, flight tickets and the proof of leaving Germany as you mentioned it is not enough.

It has to be those forms that are mentioned in the letter that you have to send to the company.

Cancellations because of moving abroad always take some time.

Leave the bank account open a little longer, or change the regulation that from now on you transfer the money by yourself after receiving an invoice.

As I see you should have already received an information about that fact.

Thanks for following up. I got the letter this past Monday and I'm glad, cheers. I'm planning to get the Abmeldebestätigung next week sometime and will send it to you directly via messaging.

Dear Jessica,

Thank you for your wishes:-) I was very busy these days with my work, so i could not been able to check my mails.

As we understood that there is no possibility to complete the Sonderkündigung process without the copy of Abmeldebestätigung in the last week of my stay in Germany in April 2017.

So i still have few queries to clarify and take your suggestion

1) If i leave my bank account in Germany open till end of my contract, which is only 1 month later (05.06.2017) to complete the final payment and closes the contract, but here i have to pay for 1 more month extra without usage.

2) Even with Sonderkündigung by end of April 2017 do they still charge for the remaining contract of 1 month??

3) And what if O2 automatically extends the Contract even after my contract end period and continue and charge me further without being in Germany and use the number?

That is the reason i would send the Abmeldebestätigung copy through private message & through mail to them and close the contract. 

Please check with Sonderkündigung Team and propose me the best solution. I really wont have any control of this and not interested to add unnecessary charges & issues once i leave Germany.
