Service kündigen

I just received this message from O2:

Lieber o2 Kunde, der kostenlose Service o2 More Local, mit dem Sie standortbezogen besondere Angebote erhalten haben, wird zum 30.4.2020 eingestellt. Deshalb müssen wir den Service hiermit zu diesem Datum kündigen. Die Beendigung des Services verläuft automatisch, Sie müssen nichts weiter tun. Danke für Ihr Verständnis. Ihr o2 Team

 

What does this mean? What is the service O2 More Local? It says I don't have to do anything, but I would like to know if everything will continue normally and will effectively change

Hi @juliano7s  .

Welcome to our o2 community. First of all, don’t worry, everything is fine, you dont have to be afraid, nothing import regarding your mobile services or your contract will change.

o2 Local was a “LBS” a free Location Based Service. For example when crossing the street and running by a cinemaxx movie theatre (or a strore or whatever) it is possible that you will receive a textmessage (SMS) with 

a commercial text or a special offer.  This  service will be shout down on april 30th.
