Router Malfunction - Request for Assistance

Dear o2 Customer Service Team,

I am writing to report an issue with my o2 HomeBox 6441 router. After connecting it to the power supply, none of the indicator lights illuminate, and I am unable to access the internet. Could you please advise on the appropriate steps to resolve this issue?

Specifically: - Should I purchase a new router independently?

- Is it possible to return the faulty router to o2 for a replacement?

- Are there any troubleshooting steps I can perform to potentially fix the current router?

I appreciate your assistance and look forward to your prompt response.

Best regards,

sylvan

The o2 Homeboxes are loan or rental devices. Please contact o2 customer service regarding an exchange of the device due to the defect. You would receive a used o2 Homebox 2 (6741) as a replacement device at no extra cost.
Alternatively, you can also rent a newer router from o2 - please refer to the prices in the price list.
If you want a newer router, I would recommend that you buy one yourself. This is cheaper than renting from o2.

Hello @lvliycy,

welcome to our o2 Community 🙂

Oh that is a pity that your router does not work properly and you cannot access the internet anymore.

Could you follow blablups advice and contact the colleagues from our customer service already? Or do you want to opt for an own router?

Best Regards,

Gerrit
