Thanks for the fast reply… BUT … how long takes for that reply ?
I requested yesterday, I already got the first email with PDF terms of contract and the amounts but not the date so far.
I can give you the details here but I think is not wise to make it public
As soon as o2 receives a confirmed connection date from the local line provider, you will receive the order confirmation. Typically, this takes about 1 to 3 weeks after ordering, in special cases even longer.
On the online order I describe as 1 family only, but the building have 4 apartments from where 2 of them already have DSL internet. That my help I guess.
I don’t think is anything beside plug the box here as per my neighbor told me.
I really need the internet fast. Any help is appreciated.
I can only recommend to give the necessary information truthfully when ordering. Incorrect or missing information can lead to delays in the process.
If necessary, it is advisable to use mobile network in the meantime.
Hello @andrenvillela and welcome to our o2 community :-)
I transfered your posting to our english subforum so it will be easier found.
If you already recieved a confirmation of your order we also took all necessary steps to provide you with a DSL line as soon as possible. As soon as we have a confirmed date from the local provider you will recieve further information about this. :-)
Regards,
Lars
I got the date already, 4-DEC but that is really inconvenient to wait that long…
I am brazilian and even in a poor country like Brazil it is faster, I am in Germany… I was expecting that everything would be better, faster, reliable … :(
If anyone can help to speed the installation would help a lot… I work from home
Thanks, Andre
@andrenvillela one question. Did you rent the router from o2 or you have a router by yourself? And what router you want to use?
I rent from O2.
I guess I selected the FRITZ!Box 7490
Hello @andrenvillela,
if you ordered the DSL connection on the 17th, an activation date on the 4th of December is within the normal range. We always try to activate the connection as soon as possibile, so unfortunately there is no possibility to move the activation to an earlier date.
Regards,
Lars
Hi,
it is scheduled for tomorrow (4-DEC-2019) installation but my wife is out of town but I am at the apartment. Just want be sure they will come install it even if they tried to call her and and she did not answer it because she is oversea.
I guess I wrote only her mobile number on the request.
In case need my mobile just let me know and I will send my number.
Thanks, Andre

Edit o2 Antje: Personal customer information removed
Anyway, the O2 personal make the installation, make me sign and left without leaving the internet working… I am trying to figure out the damn box… BUT … there is NO ENGLISH to select on language in the Router FritzBox 7490!
Then after over 1h …
I figure out that need to add the ISP, user-password… but then, when I tried entry the information give me the following error on System > Ereignisse = PPPoE-FEHLER: ZEITUBERSCHREITUNG
I am so piss off, angry, disappointed, ashamed on everything here that is hard to express myself.
Installation of a DSL router is not included in the services provided by o2 and is not the task of the technican. All routers rented by o2 only support German language as we are in Germany and German is the language spoken in Germany. Feel free to use a router that meets your personal wishes.
You can find a short instruction (German) how to install an AVM Fritzbox 7490 here.
PPPoE-Fehler Zeitüberschreitung might indicate that you set none or the wrong VLAN-ID. VLAN-ID=7 is required according to the interface description. Make sure that you selected the right provider profil (o2 DSL).
Hello @andrenvillela,
what is the status now? does the DSL connection work? Or are there still issues? If the router still does not connect to the internet I recommend to open a trouble ticket with our technical DSL departement. If you do not speak german at all I recommend to call with a friend of yours who does so since we can not promise that you will reach an english speaking agent.

Lars
Hi,
I got charged 158€ for something was not working properly, complain in less than 2 days after installed and returned in 5 days!
I am not sure but I guess there most have some law that if something ordered and cancelled in so short period not be charged to customer. Plus, I only cancel because was not working properly.
Thanks, Andre

When I contacted the customer service and cancelled it, I was told that I probably would not be charged anything, at most only the few days that was connected.
Need HELP!
Thanks, Andre
Edit by o2_Tatjana: Put two Threads together
