Refund of O2 HomeSpot equipment

Hi Team,

Its been 5 days since I received the confirmation from DHL that O2 have received the returned Homespot router equipment. However, I am yet to receive the amount I was charged for the equipments after the contract ended.

When will I receive the amount back? It is frustrating as there is no email where I can contact nor the shopkeepers entertain this query.

This typically takes several weeks. The best way to avoid this situation is to return the device on time at the end of the contract.

Hello ​@n433m,
the refund of the one-time fee may indeed take some time. Did you receive confirmation from us that the router has been received? If so, it shouldn't be long before you receive your refund.

@o2_Bianca I didn’t receive any confirmation from O2 regarding delivery. However, with DHL tracking code I can see that it reached to O2 warehouse on 05.02.2026. You can also check with that code on DHL tracking page.

All right, if the device is already back with us, it will take a little while longer until it has been checked out of all systems. Afterwards we will send you a confirmation.

You will then receive the refund as soon as possible to the bank account you have registered with us.
I know this is annoying, but please bear with us a little longer 🌸
