I got the following email from O2,

“ in Kürze erreichen Sie die Volumengrenze für Ihre maximale Surfgeschwindigkeit.

Wenn Sie die Volumengrenze 3 Monate in Folge überschreiten, wird bei erneuter Überschreitung im 4. Monat und in allen Folgemonaten die Surfgeschwindigkeit auf 2.000 KBit/s bis zum Ende des Abrechnungszeitraums reduziert. Es verbleiben Ihnen noch 19GB im aktuellen Abrechnungszeitraum. “

I have been using this DSL internet for past 8 months but never got this reply. Can you say what is the reason for this?

Hi @siva123

Welcome to our o2 Community.

Could you please tell us which DSL contract you are using? You can find the name of your data plan / tariff on your monthly invoice/ bill,

then we can check why you got the email you quoted.

Best Regards Matze

I am using o2 my home S tariff

@siva123 really a my Home S and nota my Home S Plus?

@siva123  The o2 my home S has limited data volume of 100 GB.

After 100 GB of traffic your DSL speed is limited to 2mbit till the next monthly bill cycle starts.

Best Matze

My contract started from 16.8.2020. Then the new billing cycle starts from ever month 16th. Am i right?

@siva123 That could be, but to be a 100% sure you can check you invoice / bill, there you find your bill cycle.

Here you can check and download you invoice.

@siva123  Could you try it with a different browser, and if that wont work via our o2 App

There you should have full access to your customer data and your invoice.

Best Matze

I tried with other browser, I coudnt find my invoice. How to register in the o2 app? I cannot give my mobile number its showing error message. Can you help me with it?

@siva123: Please don’t use your community login for checking your contract details. Because of data security it is not allowed.

You will have to sign in at home with your DSL connection and do the following steps:

Go to www.o2online.de  and afterwards “Jetzt registrieren” Put in your Personal Identification Code (PKK)  and klick “Registrierung”  Choose a username ( not your emailadress or landline number!!) and a password.

Username: the username may insert the following special character - , . but not in the beginning or the end of the name. It may take 5 to 30 letters but not more than 5 digits.

Password: The password may contain the following special characters:! # $ * + -.? _ The length is between 8 and 30 characters, the password must consist of at least four different characters

That’s it. Please make sure your browser accepts cookies otherwise you will always led back to the login page.

If you are in need of more information, don’t hesitate to ask.

Greetings
