O2 my home not working


Hi,

My Home internet suddenly stops working since morning and I am unable to reach out to technical team for support as none of them are English speaking.

 

I have the case number generated from O2 my Service app. Can anyone from the O2 department can help here?

Unfortunately we can not solve technical issues here in the community. Did you already talk to our technical support? Have you received any information, i.e. via text message?

Many of our users are also helpful if the internet connection is broken. Can you provide us with a few more information? Do you have a DSL-, Mobile or Cable connection? Has it been working before nomally?

Hi,

I have a Home internet XXL Cable connection and using my own newly purchased Fritzbox 6660.

The connection was activated yesterday and everything was working till morning 09:00 hours. 

Since then the Power/Cable light in the router is blinking continuously. 

 

I tried to reach out to the technical support team but they always redirect me to English speaking agent from general support department.

 

I tried the O2 my service app and it detects that there is some internet connectivity issue and gave me this case number - 828770

I have just asked our technical support, the have opened a ticket for you today and handed it over to vodafone. I hope that the problem can be fixed very soon.

Is your Fritzbox new or has it been used before?

Yes, it’s is new Fritzbox 6660. Recently purchased from Amazon.

And few days back when I updated the MAC address it was working for a night, and next morning it stops working.

I have contacted our technical support, a problem with the cable line could not be detected. Do you have the possibility to check the connection with another router?

The fact that it worked at first and then stopped is strange and it may indicate a router defect. How are the LEDs on the router lit, are they off or blinking (esp. Power/Cable)?

Have you reset your Fritzbox to factory settings already? Maybe the manual in English is helpful: FRITZ!Box 6660 (avm.de)
