O2 Kabel Installation.


I connected the Frtizbox received from O2 and the power and wlan icons are on and constant but I cannot see telefonica homescreen.

What exactly is your request?


So I wanted a faster activation as I received the router quite early.  According to the given literature, to confirm the installation; I should be able to see the O2 homepage confirming the installation was complete and activation can be done. But I donot see that home page inspite the lights on the router ate static on power and wlan icons. I am able to see the fritz menu and see that its receiving 128kbps of unlink and downlink speed. But I am not getting to the said O2 page.

Were you able to resolve your issue? Is the connection working now, or should I take another look at it?

Hey! not yet.

The customer service told that express activation is not possible. They have told me that I have to wait till the activation date. 

 

Also the issue of not landing on O2 homepage while you connect to router is still persists. I had doubt a if the router was configured. So I reset it again and configured it using my O2 service app but no luck still. Is this normal? I guess I will only get to know if its activated.

Could you navigate to the FRITZ!Box web interface and check whether the router has detected all available channels?


Can you check the attached images if that could of some information. I am not sure about the number of channels.

@Merchantglue17 Can you Click on channels? Then I can check it in detail;)


Some of the channels I can upload the rest later if required. Other ones are 16, 17,1, 2, 18,19,20,21,22,23,24.

And upload channels are 41, 1,2,3,4.

the Docsis 3.1 is not perfect but should work Docsis 3.0 is Fine maybe you can send me the upload channel ?

The upload on channel 1 and 2 is not good. 
 

Channel 1 is only using 4QAM instead of 64QAM

Channel 2 is only using 16QAM instead of 64QAM

 

The router falls back to lower modulation when the signal quality is too poor. 
 

I would ask o2 maybe they can fix it before your actication date ;) You can use your Internet but maybe you will get lower speed and packet loss.

Your connection to the cable network works. If o2 activates your plan it will work.
But I would call or ask an forum mod to check the upload values. Maybe this is the reason that they cant activate it earlier.
