O2 HomeBox 6741 wifi connection with no internet

Hello all,

 

I have been experiencing Wifi connection problem from time to time. Although it says connected, unable to access the internet. Right now, I have 7+ devices connected to my Homebox 6741. What should I do fix it ?

Any help appreciated.

Hello @bxa4647,

if you encounter issues with a wifi network there are many possible causes. Depending on how many other wifi router and devices are in the vicinity there may be a massive influence on bandwith, range and stability of your wifi network. Under some circumstances it may help to give seperate names for the 2.4GHz and the 5GHz network and try if devoices behave differently if connected to the other network.

If the router is used to cover a bigger area it may also be effective to use wifi repeater to extend the range of the network, if you are using smart home devices also a newer router like a fritzvox series 75x0may help with wifi issues.
