O2 DSL with Speedport Smart 4

Thank blablup, with VLAN ID = 7, it does connect but there is no active internet. Cannot surf or browse anything.

I would like to configure my (future) O2 DSL with the same router.

Would you mind posting the final set of configurations you setup on your Speedport Smart 4? (anonymised of course). That would help a lot :)

I am sorry to hear there are issues regarding your landline DSL connection.

If the connection does not work at all, please tell us, what router exactly you are using, what error message you recieve if you try to connect you recieve, since when does this happen and did your DSL connection already in the past? The more information you can provide the better we will be able to help :-)

Schön, dass das hier der einzige Thread ist, wo das mit dem VLAN erwähnt wird. Das wäre sicherlich für ganz viele Umsteiger sinnvoll und auch der O2-Support dürfte die Info sehr gern weitergeben. 

Ich habe bereits den Support kontaktiert, da ich über die Aktivierungszeit hinaus war und man hat mir nur gesagt, dass das am ersten Tag nicht richtig laufen würde.

Internetverbindung steht nun - mal schauen wie lange es dauert, bis die SIP Zugangsdaten im o2-Portal erscheinen.

Eigentlich wird das in jedem Thread erwähnt, in dem es um die Konfiguration von Fremdroutern geht, die keine o2 Homebox und keine AVM Fritzbox sind.
