Hi,
Today we got mail in post on our address with information about expansion of optical network. But on the ordering page exact same address is listed as unsupported.
Is there error on the website or mail is false?
Best regards
Mark

Hello
welcome to the o2 Community .
The letter that you received was also from o2? Or was this from the corporation that is going to build the fiber network? It can of course also happen that the expansion is planned depending on the demand, but as it isn’t finalized yet, it doesn’t appear on our onlinepage yet.
Kind regards, Sven
Hi Sven
It was from O2, letter itself is generic one, but envelope was printed with our exact address. See the letter attached. I am very excited to finally have faster connection here, that’s why am raising questions here.
All in all just want to know if there is anything I can do to speed it up, or if this is just demand probing letter or something that means nothing I we s
till have to wait (as usual).
Thanks for the quick reply
Best regards
Mark
Hello
the letter says that an expansion is planned for your area, so there would definitely still be some time until you’d actually be connected via fiber. If you want we can make an inquiry concerning your address from our end. If you’d be interested in that please let us know, so that we can contact you by private message to exchange personal information like the address.
Kind regards, Sven
Hi
Yes, please.
Hello
I’ve sent you a private message, you’ll find it in your inbox. It would be very helpful if you gave a short notice here in the thread when you have answered to the private message.
Kind regards, Sven
Hi
Replied to the private message.

Hello
I’ve checked the address that you’ve given me. Currently we don’t have an info about the avaiability of fiber for this address. I’d expect this to be an area in which the Deutsche Telekom is providing the fiber and is responsible for the expansion. I’d expect it to be a while until this happens, as we have no data at all from them so far. I’d doubt that this is probing for demand, but probably something that is planned longterm.
Kind regards, Sven
