Line ID

Hello,

Currently I am in the process of moving my existing O2 DSL internet contact within Berlin. O2 is asking for the line ID of new place, so that technician visit would not be required.

However I am not able to find the line ID through https://www.anschlussinfo.de/fehler, tried many times but could not succeed.

How should I proceed now as I do not want the technician to come or else I will have to switch to different provider.

The number should be on the TAE socket in the apartment.

Thanks for your prompt response.

I could not find the line ID number on socket or am I missing something. I have attached the photo of it for your quick reference.

Have you probably accessed the connection information page via the mobile network?

To use the information page, please connect the router to the power source and telephone socket. Connect the device (smartphone, laptop) to the router via Wi-Fi or LAN cable. Go to the landing page www.anschlussinfo.de

Click the "Informationen anzeigen" button.The area code and line ID will then be displayed. You can enter the data on o2.de/service/leitungs-id/

If it is still not working, a technician has to come for the activation.

I already tried accessing anschlussinfo.de but it did not.

Do you mean since I already tried accessing through mobile network first and then tried with WIFI, it did not work?

Hello ​@Pnanrashant,

if it’s not working with the router and you still get this error message, a technician has to come for the activation, I am sorry.

If you are unable to attend on the day of activation, the appointment with the technician can be rescheduled for a later date.
