To explain my situations: I ordered kabel internet from O2, they say the activation can be done without a technician the only thing I had to supply was the MAC address from my kabel modem, what is the Fritzbox 6690.

With the fritzbox connected it seems there is no signal, so the light keeps blinking. Even we tried a COAX signal checker and it seems that there is no signal on the kabel. This can happen because it is a new building.

So there is an ticket and they say it will be fixed today, but no status update so far

That you’ve already contacted the technical department with your issue is good to hear. The 6690 that you are using is a rental model from us or is it your own one? If it is yours, have you used it with a different provider before or is it completely new?

@o2_Sven it is my own kabelmodem, it is a completly new one. Not used with any provider. I don't think the Modem is the problem. The problem is in that are seems no signal to the coax kabel to my building
