I’m an exchange student study just one semester at Mannheim University. On August 23th, I bought a 02 blue flex contract sim card which would cost me 10 euro/month and I was persuaded to pay 30 euros for a valid fee which can enable me to drop out from the contract whenever I want.



Nowadays, I’m going to leave Germany in January 10th since I only exchange for one semester. I once thought what I paid for 30 euros for the flexibility means that I can cancel my contract directly at one of the shops in Mannheim. But yesterday(December 24th) when I went to the O2 shop located at P5 on the main street of Mannheim. The two female shopkeepers just told me I can’t cancel my contract directly and I must write a letter to the headquarters.



I just wonder I paid the 30 euros for what? I would not pay the extra 30 euros at the shop if I had known I can’t cancel the contract directly as the shop manager once said. I can directly buy a cheaper card which has no flexibility on O2 website!



I want to cancel my phone cardncontract before I leave Germany on Jan 10th since I have the flexibility right. My phone number is 0176XXXXXXX.

Hi Michael,



I have to contracts with O2: mobilephone and modem USB. Six months ago I went to the shop Skyline Plaza in Frankfurt to cancel the contract with the modem USB because I knew that the contract finishes in October, the salesman told me that I cannot cancel because the contract finishes in October that I need to go in October to cancel this contract. I trusted him.



Recently I went to the same shop to cancel the contract and they told me that I cannot cancel the contract because I had to do it three months in advance. They told me, in a very unpolite way that: it was my problem to trust their colleague(that know he is not working there).



I'm very disapointed because the manager and the saleswoman treat me in a very rude way, they were not respectful with me.



At the end I dicided to move back to Barcelona in February. I would like to know what exactly I need to do to cancel both contracts and of course I would like to give a feedback about the both sellers in the shop Skyline Plaza.



During this two years that I was with o2 I had no troubles, Internet and flat message and phone was working always perfect and I was very happy to choose this company instead of others.

I'm sorry, that you were told the wrong Information about the cancelation. ☹️



I've send you an email with all the informations about the cancelation of your two contracts. Please describe also the situation in the shop, when you got the wrong Information. Maybe it is possible to cancel the o2 go contract before you will leave Germany.



I transfer your complaint about the shop to the appropriate colleauges. They need your description of the situation in the shop.
