Is it legal to force my to buy unwanted devices ?

Hello,
currently I use O2 my Home S Flex. Week ago I received message that O2 decide to cancel my contract since 01.08.25. So I decided to place new order for the same tariff but it was twice declined with following explanation "Leider müssen wir Ihnen mitteilen, dass wir Ihrer Bestellung nicht entsprechen können.

Falls Sie zusammen mit dieser Bestellung z. B. noch ein Handy oder Tablet bestellt haben, so wird diese separat bearbeitet und geprüft."

My question is if is it legal to force me to buy additional unwanted services or devices to stardart tariffs  because I do not need additional handy or tablet ?

welcome to our o2 Community 😀
We have not cancelled the contract with effect from 01.08.2025, but you have given notice of termination. 
This was received by us in May. 
If you wish, the cancellation can still be cancelled. 
Then you can simply continue to use the contract or extend it. 
With the new orders, you wanted to take out an o2 Home M tariff. 
Should we make you an offer for a contract extension here in the community?

@o2_Solveig  Thank you for your answer ! Yes I want to extend my current contract. Can you please confirm on my email that my contract will be extended after 01.08.2025. Thank you in advance.

I cancelled the termination request immediately. You will receive a confirmation automatically. 

You can continue using the homespot. No more action required.
