Hi,
So, my internet was activated today. I tried connecting to the wifi & lan, but it says no internet access and when I was checking the event logs, found this logs
Log in with internet service provider failed. {{some code here}} test user

I removed a part with a placeholder {{some code}} for security reason as I wasn’t aware how critical it is.

And when I was trying use another password in the account information I am getting bad username or password, but I am using the same to login to this account in O2. I never received any password from O2 to be used for account information rather I had to create while registering.

I would really appreciate any support.

Have a nice day!

For the PPPoE Connection you have to use the username and password provided by o2 (welcome letter or pdf/email with your landline phone number). You can not chose them by yourself.

I haven’t received any username and password in any emails. What should I do now?

Check your letter box. Usually you should receive the welcome letter about 1-2 weeks before the activation date. If you have not marked your doorbell and letterbox with your name, it is also possible that the post office was unable to deliver the letter.

I have my name in the doorbell and the letterbox but didn’t receive any welcome letter. I got the router and activated it with express activation, and still have to wait for this letter, ironic!
Is it possible to get the credentials by calling in the customer service?
They should let me generate one online and that’s what I am paying for (wifi 🤣). I wonder when will Germany really go digital.

If it is a DSL connection and your connection has already been activated and you have registered your contract for ‘Mein o2’, you can also view the DSL login details in ‘Mein o2’. Is that digital enough for you?
Of course, you can also contact o2 customer service, who will be able to tell you when the welcome letter was sent to you by letter or e-mail and, if necessary, arrange for it to be sent again.

Hi @xtron

welcome to our community. 🙂 Nice to meet you here.

Is everything working properly right now? Did you find the access data of your router or are you still in need of assistance?

Thanks to blablub providing the correct information.

Greetings
