how long it takes to transfer the DSL contract?

you should expect a run up time of somewhere between two to three weeks for moving a DSL connection to a new address, which is why we generally advise to start the process atleast 4 weeks before the date that you’d like to have the connection at the new address to ensure that you can get the appointment that you’d like.
Concerning the account I’d guess that you registered your community account not with your contract but a “Interessentenaccount” which does not have access to mein o2.

Thanks so much. We donot move the DSL connection to another place. It’s still the same apartment, the contract will transfered to me from the last tenant. I will move into this apartment at the end of September.

So in this case, it also takes two to three weeks, right?

True, I registed with the “Interest Account” before, because I’m not a O2 customer before.

if you want to change the contract holder, this is much quicker than moving to another location.
The change of contract holder can be ordered in the app by the previous holder and then confirmed by the new holder. This should only take a few days.

As I still have not get any news about the owner change, I apply a new DSL my home contract today, but the activation date will be 18.10.2023.

without the info from the person that the contract is being transfered from, we can’t really give out any info about the status of the transfer. Concerning the new contract, a start up time of about 3 weeks is the norm.
