Hello!
I have a question. 

If I want to stop using the Internet (break the contract), but I have a HotSpot lease, do I need to pay the full amount for the HotSpot to return it upon termination? At the conclusion of the contract, I was told that I would pay a monthly rent, but I thought that by terminating the contract, I might not pay the rest of the amount, since I would return the device and would not use it anymore. This worries me. Thanks in advance.

 

 

 

There are 2 possibles ways.

You have a Flex Tarif that you have one month cancel time.

If you have a 24 Month Tarif than U could only cancel the contract to the end of this runtime.

The Router should be send back with a label of the https://www.o2online.de/service/retoure/ portal, at the end of the contract. If you send the HomeSpot back before the contract ends you can’t use the contract. But u have not to pay the rent for the router. O2 have a „little“ delay to detect the return of the router.


@schluej That’s bad news for me, but now I know how it works. I’ve asked a consultant in the shop for Flex, but in the end, it turned out that I have “24 Months”. She said, that I can cancel the contract when I want, now it turned out that this is impossible, although I plan to leave the country. Very unpleasant. I'm thankful for replying and for clarity

If you are completely leaving the country, then you can end the contract before the end of the 24 months are up.
