Hi @canavar ,
please try contacting us via phone:
0800-525 1378
My co-workers there are mostly only speaking german, I hope that isn’t a problem.
Direct contact via phone is recommended in most cases in order to be able to check and / or change settings or test our different things directly with the device in range.
Please let us know here, if that does not work you or if you have further questions.
Best regards,
Kurt
I could not get help by Kundenservice. I would like to get some information about Tarif Upgrade. How does it work? Does o2 sends someone to my Apartment to upgrade my Tarif or is it just an online thing? How long does it take to get my Tarif upgraded after I apply? Tomorrow I am going to upgrade my o2 50mbit to 250mbit and hope for the best and get better connection speed. I want to know, if after the Tarif upgrade I still get low connection speed, can I turn back to my 50mbit Tarif? If that will be the case I will cancel my o2 membership and get a second internet connection by other internet providers even though I have to pay to o2 at least 9 more months. Thank you for all your answers.
@canavar Can you check the possible Internet speed again for your adress and press on the i button? I am interested in the technology.
Not that the Speed will deliver over cable and not not over VDSL.
https://www.o2online.de/e-shop/internet-festnetz
And o2 must deliver minimum bandwidth (up the technology) before you can make a tariff upgrade.
Last question. Did you really need 250 / 40 Mbit or is 50 / 10 Mbit enough if o2 can deliver this?
Can you look please your VDSL Username in my o2 service center or Willkommensbrief? End the username with @s92 (ADSL Port with max 16 Mbit) or @s93 (VDSL Port max. 100 Mbit)?
the i Button: “An der geprüften Adresse sind bis zu 100 MBit/s über HomeSpot 5G, 250 MBit/s über DSL möglich.”
I would like to get 250 / 40 Mbit so yes I need higher speed. 50 / 10 Mbit won’t be enough but if 250 / 40 is not possible then I have to accept 50 / 10.
It is @s92.
Thank you for your answers.
