Hallo @Enkike91 . I have some information and questions.
1.) I think in some weeks the old tenant will contact you, because he should pay 50 up to 100 Euro for not send send back the old router to o2. It is property from O2 and only rent from them.
And you can’t use any o2 router from ebay Kleinanzeigen and so on because the o2 Homebox run only with the o2 customer contract number who original rent the Router.
2.) Did the old tenant cancel the o2 VDSL contract or move it over to you? (Vertragsinhaberwechsel) If he cancel, you must make a contract by yourself.
3.) If you make by yourself a o2 VDSL contract I strongly recommend a Flex tariff. This tariff you can cancel every month. Please buy in this tariff the router by yourself. It is to expensive in my eyes in the flex tariff.
If you have any more questions post it in this thread. Best regards.
