Hello @Partha,

sorry to hear that the connection still does not seem as stable as it should. I had a look into this and as faras I can see it was recommended that you try out another router and also other cables between the TAE wall socket and the router. Please also make sure there is only one active TAE wall socket and there is no additional hardware between the router and the TAE like cable extenders or other hardware.

If you are using PowerLAN adapter please try if you still encounter trouble if they are turned off since this devices sometimes use frequencies that interfere with the VDSL frequencies resulting in disconnects.

If you can rule all this options out I can just recommend to get in touch with our technical DSL departement again.

Regards,

Lars

Hi @o2_Lars ,

Thank you for your reply.

  1. I have already changed the router from the O2 provided router to Frizbox.
  2. I am using a cable provided by Frizbox for the connection from the router to the TAE wall socket and it is connected directly without any other devices in between.
  3. I am not using PowerLAN.
  4. Some three months ago your technical person visited and change the wall TAE socket
  5.  Some days VDSL connection stability is very bad. eg. especially Fridays. It drops more than 40+ times in a 24 hour period. On normal days the connection drops around 10+ times.
  6. As per your technical support team’s suggestion for more than a month I have not done power on/off cycle of the router. Your technical team told that they will be monitoring from their side.

Please let me know if there is any progress on the issue. Since I don’t know German it is hard for me to reach the technical support person who speaks English. Please give me a English speaking technical support number. That would be very helpful. Thanks!

Hello @Partha,

there will never be any observation for a month. I recommend to get in touch with our technical DSL team.

If you do not speak any german I suggest to call with a friend fo yours who does so since we can not promise that you will reach an english speaking agent. As of today there is noe special number for english technical support.

You may also try our support via WhatsApp.
