Hello,

I have been using o2 DSL from last 2 years. I want to know about the renewal/refresh of contract after completion of current 2 years contract. Is it possible to change plan or switch dsl plan to mobile phone tariff?

Regards,

Rishabh

Hay hay @Rishabh,

welcome to our community. My colleagues would be happy to make you an offer for a contract extension. Please be patient, we have a lot of inquiries at the moment.

best regards
Larissa

@Rishabh what dsl tariff you have?

Hi Joe,

I have o2 dsl free, it costs 31.98 euro monthly and recently the speed has also been quite low (10-12 mbps download , 1 mbps upload). I would like to know about all the options I have, related to renewal of contract. I don't use home telephony so would also like to know about the possibility of getting e-sim with same contract.

@Rishabh can you check here your address for the max speed please. Please don’t post your address here. Only the speed options.

Hi Joe, As I can see, it shows the availability of 250mbps.

@Rishabh nice. I think a my Home M VDSL (50 Mbit) for 29,99 Euro Is enough for you. Now to the mobile tariff.

Did you have in the moment a postpaid or prepaid mobile tariff? And what is the mobile provider.
For example you can get an o2 free M with 40 GB data and connect Option to your home dsl tariff for 17,49 Euro.

And I strongly recommend to make this here over the forum and not over a shop because here you can cancel this in 14 days if something is going wrong (Widerruf)

Thanks Joe, Can you provide more details on VDSL M ?

Do I need to pay 29.99 from the first month with same box or do I need to change box with some offers available on the website?

I don't use any prepaid or postpaid at the moment. I was using a n/w provider which was cheaper for ISD calls.

@Rishabh before I answer. What exact model of router you have?  If a rent router from o2 , did you pay monthly rent?

I have o2 homebox 2

@Rishabh model 6641 or 6741? And to which foreign landline and mobile phone goes your calls.

Lucky for you, i am a customer like you and I don’t recommend things you don’t need or pay to much money. 😎

It is 6441. I hardly use telephone calls. But in case I need to, I just want the service to be available to have ISD call.

Let’s start.

I recommend a my Home M 50 Mbit for 29,99 Euro monthly. No contract change fee.  You can keep the 6441. You must pay 1,99 or 2,99 Euro monthly rent for the router. This can tell only an o2 moderator who make an offer for you. If you make 24 months contract you get a discount. Hint to o2: offer without o2 TV please. 😉
For all you get an offer over email, that you must confirm. Because of this I strongly recommend to change the contract  here over the forum and not over a shop.

Some post above you want a mobile contract with e-sim option. Not interested any more? How many mobile data you need?

Sure thanks. Please let me know whom to reach out for contract related details.

for sim related query, my question initially was whether I would be able to use the same number of dsl with sim on my phone. Not sure if it is possible but as I could recall, when the delivery for dsl was delayed, I was offered to get a sim card to use. Also all these dsl offers come with flatrate telephony so that is kinda useless for me if I don’t have home phone.

@Rishabh Ok. I understand. And no not work. You get for the mobile extra contract.

One thing because a simcard is now not wanted. Your old o2 DSL Free tariff have normally 50 Mbit Down and 10 Mbit Upload

Normally an o2 moderator can arrange a port switch from ADSL to VDSL for more speed. This is for free and will take about 3 weeks.

I think than you start your contract in 2018 only ADSL was possible.

Other option Is to make a tariff change. Than you get a discount and a port switch too.

@o2 VVL (make a nice offer to @Rishabh )

-my Home M 24 months contract for 29,99 Euro

-without o2 TV

-with the old 6641 o2 Homebox (Rent Monthly 1,99 Euro because old customer or 2,99 Euro??)

-a discount for renew 24 months.

Think over night and write your choice.

Hi @Rishabh

Long time no see.

Are you still interessted in a contract extention?

Best Matze

Hi @o2_Matze

The task is pending with o2 to provide me offer details. Please refer above discussion

Dear @Rishabh ,

in order to help you with your request, I need your phone number or your customer number and your four-digit personal customer ID/code. I'll write a private message from o2_VVL to you.

Please get in touch with us again here in the post when you have answered the private message!

Kind regards,

Hi Andrea,

I have provided details in private message.

Hi,

could you please provide an update?

Hi @Rishabh,

thanks for your patience and the details at @o2_VVL.

As I see @Joe Doe was already of great help to you.

So, I suppose you would be interested in an 24-month extension in the tariff “o2 my Home M”, right?

I have just sent an offer for extension to your e-mail-address.

Pursuant to the decree of transparency I need to inform you about our tariff leaflets which you can download here: http://g.o2.de/travo. There you'll find all details of the product listed.

If you like to accept this offer, just click on the button at the end of the e-mail.

Did I understand you correctly that you would like to order a new mobile phone contract as well?

If you are interested in receiving an offer, just let me know.

Loving greetings,

Tobias
