O2 lied me about instalation date of DSL connection (technician simply did not show up) and now they need to call them and set new appointment. Is there any English customers service there? Or is it possible to arrange such appointment by e-mail?
@BartlomiejP sorry you can made only a new appointment over phone. Hope you get a operator, who will speak English with you. Hope really that O2 will make an English speaking hotline in the future.

One question from customer to customer. Will you pay extra 2 or 3 Euro each month, if you get a hotline with English support?
I think in 2019, every company should require their employees to speak English as a second language. English is the unofficial world language.
Yes you are right. But the business department don’t want to pay the extra cost.
Joe, for me 2-3 euro more for English support would be fine. But I think here even customer service by e-mail or some online form would be enough. First appointment was arranged just by online form, so I don't get why it is impossible second time. And if contact is by e-mail there is some evidence for you that some conversation took place... Which might be useful just in case of some future problems.



The other problem is that technician simply did not show up. No explanation, no excuse. For me it means second day off and obviously nobody will pay me for that...
Update: It seems that even my online O2 account does not work. I'm not able to check my customer number or any data related to my contract. I see all the time some error. Without that number I'm not able to talk with any living person (instead of computer) on phone hotline...
@BartlomiejP you don’t get any E-Mail with „Willkommen bei O2“? In the E-Mail Are several attachments. In one are the dsl username/password and your new landline number.
Yes, I have that e-mail and there is landline number and password for DSL. There is not Kundennummer, I googled it and it seems it could be checked only by online O2 account. Im my case it doesn't work, I see some error all the time: "Aufgrund technischer Probleme können Ihre Daten derzeit leider nicht geladen werden. Bitte versuchen Sie es zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt erneut"
If you have your landline number and your personsal 4 digit number (PKK Persönliche Kundenkennzahl) than you have enought and you don´t need more.

Hope you get an English speaken operator. If you don´t have your PKK, call the hotline and say 5 or 6 time "i don know". You get an opeartor too.
That PKK is something new for me, I don's see it in my documents. For now I called 08001237755 and 089787979400 and it did not work.
How did you made your contract? Shop or Portal (Check....) ? Have you try your year of birth for the PKK. And again.

Call my number above for the technical hotline and say every time, if why ask over the voice computer for your landline number „I don’t know“
I used Portal. I've just checked all e-mails and there is nothing even similar to that PKK.

I checked the matter for you. The technician showed up but not in your appartment. He found a default cable in the main distribution box so there was no need to enter your flat in vain. As far as I can see is you got a new appointment on September 24th 8-12 h. Hopefully it will work after the repair. Sorry for the inconveniences. By the way: English customer support is available Mon-Fri 11 am to 3 pm.

Just ask for it.

Dear Concern, Today technician visited and checked line connection and tagged the box.

But he did not bring any router and its been one month I am still waiting for router. Anyone has idea please help. Thanks in advance.

 


@nakhtar Habe you really order the dsl contract with a router? Was the Router mentioned in the order confirmation?

@nakhtar Did you find a used Fritzbox 7430, 7490, 7520, 7530 or 7590 for a good price at Ebay Kleinanzeigen?

If you now order a rent router at o2 you must pay 49,99 Euro handling fee. And an o2 Homebox have no english user menu. An actual Fritzbox have this.

Hi @Joe Doe I have arranged 7320 FritzBox router and it is connected with DSL port but it shows unable to detect dsl please check snapshot, please help if anyone did configure this model. Thanks in advance 

 


@nakhtar a 7320 Fritzbox nowadays complete trash because it has only a ADSL modem and no VDSL modem what you need. You can't use the 7320. Only buy the Fritzboxes what I have mentioned. And no used  Homebox. This will not run on your line. Homebox is bundled with the line used before.


Okay. I am going to buy 7430 model.


@nakhtar Only for remember. 7430 works only up to 100 Mbit VDSL. For 250 Mbit (my Home XL) you need a 7530 or 7590 Fritzbox.
