Hi, 

My route (box 6431) shows the DSL light blinking but Internet light off. And I can‘t access to the Internet. I have tried troubleshooting and restarting the box, but it doesn’t work. Really need help.

where did you get the homebox from?

You could try a factory default. Press the reset on the back of the homebox.

And try again. If you get the same error please call the hotline:

Service-Rufnummer

089 78 79 79 40 0 (zum Festnetzpreis)

Please call this service number from your mobile phone if possible, as troubleshooting may be necessary. The router may have to be restarted and calls from the landline network are interrupted.

And you should speak german or you should have some one how could.

If you get the homebox not from O2 directly than buy another router (e.g. Fritzbox 75X0).

A homebox will never work if you don't get it from O2.

thank you for your answer. I have called the customer service. They said a technician would come. 
 

The router is a very old version, but still a O2 Box. Since I had forgot to ordered the router when I signed the contract. So I bought a second hand box. It has worked for several months.

Moin Moin @Yohanna the homebody normally will not provide Telefon Function and you will get no updates. And older homebox have security issues.

If you could use e.g. a fritzbox 7520 from AVM but (buy it from eBay) don’t buy over 70€. Than a FRITZ!Box 7530 is the better choice.

How does it look now? Is the connectio nworking again? Or are there still issues with the router or the connection itself? Did you already reach our technical DSL departement?

thanks for asking. everything is ok now. The technician came on the next day. The connection got fixed.
