Hi,

I have a 5g connection contract for home usage, is it possible to change it with a dsl connection without having to sign a new contract?

I know i need a dsl router.

Hallo @Help123456712 ,

while it is possible to switch your my Home FMS contract over to a DSL one, at your current address only ADSL with a max bandwidth of 6 MBit/s would be avaiable. I’m not sure if a switch would be very attractive in this case. How are things looking with your current mobile connection now, are you still having issues with the LTE?

Kind regards, Sven

Moin Moin,

as far as i know it is not possible.

But wait for an O2 Mod. maybe there was a change.

Have you made a flex contract?

Hi, it was a 24 month long contract, so i don’t think it’s a flex contract, if that’s what you mean.

Yeah i thought so, it’s just that there are a lot of festivals in the city center where i live, so the connection is too unstable to be usable.

High ping, huge amount of packet loss and really slow down and up load.

I guess i’ll have to deal with it when there are a lot of people coming from other cities.

@Help123456712 Have you ever created a technical ticket about your 5G problems? Would increase your chances that a goodwill change to DSL takes place. Let's see what an o2 moderator with insight into your customer data will say about this soon.
