cancelation of o2 l250 home contract, I want to make it o2 home XXL

Hello, so my contract will be expiring soon on March. I want to know if I can change it to the home XXL after that as soon as the contract ends?

What does "expires" mean? Did you cancel your contract? Upgrading to a higher speed is already possible if that speed is available at your location.

I meant my contract „will end“. So if I kündige then should I need to just make a new contract then? Or how do I upgrade so I will not pay for another router if you know what I mean?

@Tinay What technology you use in the moment? I think it is VDSL.
If you switch over to XXL it is mostly coaxial cable technology with all the problems like DSLite (no public IPv4) and shared medium.

You're simply extending your contract with a tariff change; you don't need to cancel. Wait here for a representative who will make you an offer.

How do I change my Tarif? There is no option to change tarif in the app… i cant find one. Do i just go simply go to the offers and choose the xxl without cancelling my contract?

@Tinay You can make this here over community over an o2 moderator.

Please write what tariff you want, what technology (coxial or fiber if possible), rented o2 router or using an own device.

After some days you get an offer over email, what you can accept or reject.

@o2_Daniela I would like to upgrade my plan, make it XXL and a router with wifi7 that is good for gaming. The one I have right now is L250 cable.

And that’s correct – after the switch, you’ll need to return your current router to us. You can do this easily via the return portal: https://www.o2online.de/service/retoure/.

@o2_Senay hi. So i received the new router, but there is no connection, it says that i need to call the service for kabelmodem activation. I called them and said that the activation will be effective on March 30th, since my old contract (L250 home) extended a month longer. It was supposedly be expired on March 3. so do I just need to wait till the end Of march? Will it activate automatically? I haven’t received a new contract for the new upgrade yet (XXL). Thanks.
