Cancel Existing Contract due to leaving Germany

How did you upload your deregistration certificate from Germany to us? Did you use our contact form?

Hello ​@o2_Kathi , I have been using this form since May and still no response from O2 team. This has become a major concern for me are the O2 team is charging me approximately 44 euros per month unnecessarily , which is a huge financial overhead for me. Can you please help me the right approach and quicker resolution. 
I used this form in April as well but I did not have the deregistration form by then. However, since May, I have been attaching the deregistration and my organization's deputation closure letter as well/

I have checked your data. You send an ordinary cancellation request and not the extraordinary wish for termination. My colleagues worked it so the contract ends on its regulary date on April 8th 2026.

I could check, your request for an extraordinary cancellation together with your de-regisatration has arrived with us and is being worked upon by our colleagues responsible for cancellation.

You still need to send the colleagues a 

• a notification of your new foreign domicile or
• alternatively a confirmation of your employer or landlord and
• your approval to deduct one basic charge in advance

You can send this via our contact form to us 🙂

Hello ​@o2_Gerrit  , I already attached a letter of confirmation from the employer. Where should can you explain me what is notification of new foreign domicile. I am a citizen of this country and I came back to my home country. 

Regarding the one month basic charge of there a form to fill.

we received your de-registration certificate four times but no proof of leaving the country for good. There is no employment contract or a rental contract  attached which makes it difficult to finish your request.

Is there anything like this you can send by contact form? Then we will finish your contract as soon as possible.

I already attached the documents. However, I created a cancellation request again at :hiermit bestätigen wir Ihnen den Eingang Ihrer Kündigung vom 24.07.2025 um 19:54:39 Uhr. and received an acknowledgement ;letter from O2 can you confirm if this works or anything pending.

I think it should be alright now. Your contract will be cancelled on August 15th 2025. Please check if you receive a confirmation right on time.
