Advance Payment

Hi Erik.

Tough to say. Problem is: You will get a final invoice somewhere in march, so today we cant say exactly what you have to pay when you get your last final invoice, so you have to transfer the money manually to our bank account from your home country in mid march. Is that possible for you?

That could work... although my payment has been exactly the same for the past several years, so I already know how much it will be: 24,89 Euro.

It would be so much easier if I could just transfer that amount to O2 before I close my account. I will of course be sending the equipment back in the mail, via DHL... so there won't be any charges related to that.

You can do that as well. You will still get a final bill in March, but as long as the balance has been paid in advance the amount due will be EUR 0.00.

Great, that would be perfect. Could you please give me the information that I need to make the advance online transfer of the payment? (bank details and such)

So I got this email today:

"Ihre Online-Rechnung für den Monat Februar 2016 steht ab dem 24.02.2016 auf

dsl.o2.de/rechnung für Sie zur Ansicht und zum Download als PDF bereit.

Ihre aktuelle Rechnung beläuft sich auf: Gesamtbetrag 24,89 Euro.

Der offene Rechnungsbetrag wird am 29.02.2016 eingezogen. "

Despite having made the advance payment already. Why is this??

Hi Erik,

your payment and the creation of the invoice overlaped. When the bill was printed, the payment wasn't registered. Everything is fine.
