How do I sign up?
If you want to register your account, please visit our registration website and choose your type of contract.
You have the following options:
- Mobile communication
- DSL
- MyHandy
- interested person to register for the o2 community
Registration for Mobile Communications
Please select "Mobilfunk-Kunde" and enter your mobile number. You will receive a provisional password from us via text message. Please change this password after your first log in.
Registration for DSL
Please select "DSL-Kunde" and enter your chosen username and a password. For security reasons the registration will only work with your own DSL/LTE connection at home.
Registration for o2 MyHandy
Please select "MyHandy-Kunde" and enter your contract number, a chosen username and a password. You’ll find your contract number on your MyHandy bill, which is also your installment plan.
Registration for our Community (which also includes helpful FAQs and a support forum)
Please insert your e-mail-address, choose a username and a password.
Where can I log into my account?
- Customers with a mobile contract or MyHandy contract: Login

I forgot my username
Customers with mobile tariff:
Your mobile phone number is your user name.
Customers with DSL at home:
Your username is usually your main telephone number.
Customers with o2 my Handy contract:
Follow this link and enter your contract number, which you’ll find on your o2 contract documents. Enter your passwort twice. Afterwards, click “weiter”. You’ll be logged in automatically and will be presented with your user name on the top right on the next page.
Username for our forum:
If you forgot your username for our support forum, please check your e-mails. With your registration, we did send you a user name and password. If you cannot find these access data, please register again.

Checking your Browser Settings
Before registering/ logging in: Ensure that your browser does accept cookies. If not, logging in is not possible. The log in landing page will be shown instead. In this case, settings have to be made as follows:
Microsoft Internet Explorer:
- Click in the menu bar of your browser > Extras > Internet options > Security > Internet.
- Put the slider in the position medium high and confirm with “ok”.
- Restart your Internet Explorer
The naming of the settings can vary depending on the version of the browser.
Mozilla Firefox:
- Click in the menu bar of your browser > Extras > Settings > Symbol Data Protection
- Choose the option: “Firefox will create a history with customary settings”.
- Choose the option “Accept Cookies” and close the window.
- Restart Firefox.

Google Chrome
Click the menu-symbol in your browser.
- Choose Settings.
- Choose Advanced Settings
- Choose the section “Data Protection” and then “Content Settings”.
- For the section “Cookies” you can choose the following option: “Allow to save local data (recommended)”.
- Restart Chrome.
Safari
- Open Safari Settings via “Edit/Settings”.
- Choose the Tab “Security”
- Choose “Accept Cookies” > Always
- Confirm with “OK”
- Restart Safari.
Important note regarding your personal data
o2 will not ask you for your log-in data via e-mail. We also do not send out bills via e-mail. If you receive such an e-mail, it will be an attempted fraud. Do not respond. Please delete such an e-mail. Do not open any attachments or links enclosed. Please do never state your log-in data. If you forwarded your data accidentally, please change your password immediately and check you computer or laptop for viruses or trojans.
