O2 service cancellation

Hi.  I have sent cancellation letter via post to O2 on july , but still they have not cancelled my contract. 

I got connection on May 2022, but internet is not working , contacted Technical team they will speak only German, so not able to explain my problem.

So internet is not there till July 22, As internet is main for my work, I went to other service provided who well understood my English language, I got internet connection with in 2 days.

I send my cancellation of contract to O2 on Aug 22, but still they are not cancelled my contract, still deducting money from my bank account, if I ask customer service who speak English, he told you need to get approval from Technical team who speak only German.am posting to this forum after much frustration, as O2 not able to solve my internet, still charging me for not using internet, even after cancellation of contract letter by post 3 month back.

Is this a DSL connection? What do you mean by “not working”? Not even connected or not fast enough?

    From may to July not working , so I went to other service provider,

Now let me know how to cancel your DSL contract.

Why would I want to cancel my DSL contract? You want to know how to terminate your contract!

Did you send the letter by recorded delivery? Have o2 confirmed that they received it?

Let me know the procedure to cancel, I send by post the cancellation letter , I did not get any confirmation from O2.

Am staying in Hamburg, let me know the exact address to post the cancellation letter.

welcome in our Community. 😊 

On September the 12th we have send you a letter with the information that we cant allow an extraordinary termination at the moment. The reason for this is, that our technical colleagues still not got a call from you. When you can´t speak German, than please take a person with you in the call who can translate while the call. Than the technical colleagues can try to help you. When the colleagues couldn’t help you then and the problem with your connection is further there, then you can send us again a request for an extraordinary termination.

Hi,

   As Technical personnel not solved my issue, I went to other service provider who has solved my issue. Now am using internet of other service provider for last 4 months, so on this basic kindly cancel my contract with O2.

You need to send your termination request to o2. You can't do this here in the forum.

Hi @Chandra mohan,

 

when you want to try to cancel your contract extraordinary, than please, send us your request per letter. You can find our Address under “o2 Postanschrift” on this page. When you want to terminate your contract regular to the end of the duration, than use the cancellation form on our portal.
