@gsis Apple should know this issue, but don’t solve it.

The link you provide does not refer to the problem we are talking about.

How can you know there was no “update” from O2? Apple has updates every month. It is very easy to blame updates for every new problem.

I check the firmware of my o2 Homebox 6641 regularly. It would be a very big coincidence if, at the same time as you update your apple device, there had also been an update at o2 at exactly the same moment.

Incidentally, Apple in particular is known for the fact that virtually every major update contains numerous bugs. It is not only easy to blame Apple for problems after an update, but it also corresponds to the empirical values that this is also true.

The fact that Apple does not care about compatibility can already be seen in the numerous technical solutions and services that are only compatible with Apple devices and services.

Well, whatever the problem is, I solved it through FRITZ!box and I don’t like O2 to ask me whether I found a solution for them.

I hope other customers solve their own problem with Apple devices by simply buying a sophisticated smartphone from another manufacturer.

  2. Alternativen DNS Server hinterlegen (in iOS bzw. MacOS).
