no DSL at adress

I went to the store and signed a contract for Wi-Fi and they checked and said that it was possible to have a DSL connection in my place, but there is no such connection where I live and today after the technician went there to install the internet I still have no access because I don't have DSL, is there any way to change the contract to cable or cancel this contract? It's already giving me a lot of stress.

What does no connection mean? Is the TAE socket missing?

It means that there is no possibility for DSL, only normal LAN cables, but in the store they made a DSL contract because they said there was DSL available in my building, but there are no such thing, just old normal LAN ports

What are normal LAN cables and what did the technician say?

Hey @Julie Anne Oliveira,

welcome to our o2 Community. 😊

I hope everything is OK with you at the moment. Sorry we're so late in getting back to you.

That sounds really confusing and not a great situation. How are things looking at the moment? Have you been able to find a solution for yourself? Can we still support you here? Would you also like to answer Bumer's questions?
