L speed at 50MB... zu langsam

I book L tarif and our speed is max 55 MB… when I was expecting at least 90 MB.

 

Worth  to cancel?

Fritz 7490, LAN connection.

report from routeur and test performed with ookla...

I believe O2 will not deliver more than this 53 MB… better to cancel no? No reason to pay for 100MB.

Hum… it’s the picture in previous post…

63,7 MB DL…

My question is rather: is by O2 a standard behaviour to sale “100” with a contract saying between 50 and 100 all ok, and bim, 53 MB.

i am not really asking for going trough my router configuration (which is BTW, very basic...).

No it isn't. This is the screen he would to see.

We try to analyse the reason why you connection is not 100mbit. 

Nice would be a screen from DSL Tab (right from Übersicht).

@Hugowalld we don’t know how long is the way to linecard, problems with vectoring, etc. And what Version have the firmware from the 7490

Again we need screenshot from Übersicht, DSL and Spektrum. Thanks and best

Hi,

thanks for your answer, very well appreciated.

here it is. Not sure this is coming from my router since 100MB was working first couple of days and then dropped since then. Capacity is above 100. No changes in configuration. Else my question. Apart the technical details, this is from a contract point of view correct since O2 has no obligation except above 50, which is currently achieved.

switching off the router for 5 mn doesn’t change.

@Hugowalld you have technical problems on the Line. Second picture (DSL) scroll down and make picture again. Is Vectoring on and how many CRC error you have? We need this Information.

CRC is in my opinion not a problem.

@Hugowalld you have technical problems. With the line distance from ca. 320m you must have DSL Sync with 100/40. This you don’t have. Vectoring is on. We must now find out, there the problems are. At your home or the DSLAM. 
1.) you use the original AVM DSL cable for connect your Fritzbox to the TAE? No second TAE box installed at the room?

2.) no Powerline over lan at your home? If you Powerline adapter, turn them off and reboot your Fritzbox 

3.) power supply for the Fritzbox is only the thing that is connected to the socket? (No lights, no receiver  etc) 

4.) you use firmware 7.11. please test the Connection with the DSL driver before. 
 


If you don’t see this point switch to Ansicht „erweitert“

Call the hotline with mobile please. I think why let reboot you the router too for testing.

1- the line was tested by DT up to the router without any issue DT tech installed the tel plug.

2- power line used but tests already made without —> no change

3- no. Moved to one socket which is not one circuit

4- no change

Thanks for the tips,  I already tested all of them before excepted 3-.

i went through all the proposed list, point by point, just specifying that I tested already 3 of them. Number 3- is now tested without result. What’s wrong with that? 
Your message is useless and doesn’t bring anything. See my last sentence!

you could execute the O2 DSL Hilfe App that could shorter the waiting time at the hotline phone.

@Hugowalld sorry for the delay. Was outside. Only for verify. You use really the original AVM DSL. Because you don’t write it.

For testing disconnect and than connect agai the plug at the TAE box.
Your upload is really worst from the screenshots. And there is no sign what the DLM give you lower profile. 
I really run out off option. Last things. Problems with the TAE box or some faulty the Fritzbox. (this I can’t  believe) 

Change the provider will don’t save the problem, if you get the same port the DSLAM / TAE at your room/house.

Please keep us informed.

Hi again,

please do not apologise for the time. It is already very kind of you to answer.

I am using only the “plug” from Fritz and then direct with Ethernet cable (5 meters) to the router.

But good point, I can move the router and use the cable from fritz or another cable just to test.

I am sceptical about this since the cable is a good cable.

 

I let you know.

Die Leitung ist in Ordnung, aber es wurde ein 50 Mbit Profil (eines der Neuen) geschaltet.

 

Störungshotline anrufen, Telekom hat das falsche Profil aufgespielt.

Did you call our technical customer service hotline as nordsee1982 suggested? 

They will create a trouble ticket to check your DSL.

Hello All,

 

i was about to write about his topic.

this is now working without having me to call as suggested.

This is working since yesterday with a much better performance (between 95 and 100 MB download).

let’s see in the coming days.
