DSL Termination due to moving back to my home country

Hey I had gotten myself a dsl connection as I had initially planned on staying in Germany for a long time but due to a family emergency, I’ll have to be moving back to my home country with no guarantee of return so I’d like to cancel my contract. I have already contacted the O2 team about this a month ago and they said they were okay with it.

I would need help in knowing how to do it and what documents I should bring?

And also how do I return the Fritzbox?

Thank you!

Hello @MrStark,

Welcome to our o2 community. It's great to have you here.😊

Oh, that doesn't sound like a very good reason to return home. I wish you and your family all the best.

Bollermann has already sent you a link with lots of helpful information. Take your time to look through it, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Is it possible to get the cancellation done with the proof of the landlord? If yes, then could you tell me what document should I have from my landlord.

@MrStark

unfortunately we need the proof of leaving the country for good and the proof of your stay abroad. Just the landlord’s certification is not enough.

If you have a One-Way-Flight ticket to your homecountry you can try to send it. But we are not sure if it is accepted.

You can upload all the documents in our contact form

Greetings
