Modifying Telefon Number in Kontaktdaten

Hello everyone, I am new of the forum and I apologize if I write in English but my German is still not good enough.

Recently, I asked O2 to modify the address of my DSL since I am moving to a new flat. I got regularly a confirmation email and everything seems ok, except the fact that I must update my phone number in Kontaktdaten, since Deutschen Telekom will contact me soon to fix an appointment with a technician and an old mobile number is still on my profile. When I try to update the phone number in my personal profile I get the following warning message:

"Sie haben eine laufende Anfrage oder einen Auftrag erfasst, der sich derzeit noch in der Bearbeitung befindet. Bitte haben Sie Verständnis dafür, dass wir aus Sicherheitsgründen immer nur einen Auftrag pro Kunde zur Zeit bearbeiten. Sobald dieser durchgeführt ist haben Sie die Möglichkeit, eine neuen Auftrag zu erfassen."

I am not sure which other request the system is processing. I already went to an official O2 shop and tey told me that they can also not change my phone number. I am afraid I will miss the Deutschen Telekom number with a consequent delay in the procedure. What would be the most effective way to proceed?
