PDP Authentication Failure Help

My husband is in Switzerland and ran out of data so I purchased him a data snack, which is active. However, he cannot connect to his mobile data and received this SMS: "Could not activate mobile data network, PDP authentication failure". He has reset his phone, the APN says internet. He can call and SMS but no internet. Could you help me?

thanks, I have looked further into the matter:

Regarding your husband's contract: it offers 1 GB of data volume for international use.
This is currently used up, once this happens the data connection is cut completely until the next monthly reset of your data volume.
At least, this will happen the day after tomorrow, so from then on, your husband will be able to use the next 1 GB outside of Germany.
Unfortunately, there is no way of purchasing any extra data volume specifically for international use, any data pack you buy is usable within Germany "only".

So I'm afraid all I can tell you is that on 8th August, your husband will have a fresh and reset data volume in Switzerland. As you said, this does not affect phone calls or text messages, though.

    If this is about your husband's account: is this regarding to the number you're registered with in the community (ending with -416)?
