Contract cancellation confirmation

My prepaid contract has ended with O2 and I would like to receive the confirmation to take the number to other provider. Since the contract ended I am not able to use the sim to login to O2. Is there a way I can get the confirmation so I can give it to my new provider?. I have been using this number for 8 years and do not want to suddenly change my number.

I am sad to read that you are leaving o2. 

For your prepaid contract, the release of the phone number is registered. 

So far, I do not see a request from another provider for a number portability, or it is not shown to me yet.
