The master didn't come

I had an appointment today from 8 to 12 for changing the internet provider but nobody has came and I couldn't get any help or information by o2 support by phone. What should I do next?

Finally (4 days, 4 calls and 1 chat with support + numerous useless trials to check the state of a ticket) internet is working.

Hi Myla. You changing your internet provider. If you really changing from a (V)DSL Provider (Telekom, 1und1 etc.) to O2 no technican come to you. If you change from a cable provider to O2 or you make complete new internet line a technican must come to you.
Ok. What change is that from you? Did you have your own VDSL Router or you rent a router from O2. Did you have your DSL User name and password from the „Willkommen bei O2“ E-Mail? (See the pdf in this E-Mail)

Hi, Joe,

I have got some updates - finally I have reached O2 support by phone twise and first time I was told that the technician should come by 4pm and second that no technician should come. Still I have no DSL signal (no light at the modem provided by O2). Previously I had Vodafone. The activation of modem only requires password or qr code that is sticked to the modem, but still can't pass through the step where DSL connection should activate.

I think you have Vodafone cable (ex Kabel Deutschland) before? Hope the technican really come today to you. And you have a O2 Homebox and not a Fritzbox.

New update - 2 more calls, rebooted modem according to the instructions obtained during the fourth call, got a ticket that states now somehing like "we have assigned your problem a number". No technician, no DSL signal, no optimism.

your appointment for repair with the technician is tomorrow from 7 am to 3 pm. So pls make sure that he is able to get to your TAE.
