Setting the internet connection after receiving the router if the technician doesn't show up

I received my router (O2 box 6741) via mail and it is connected, showing all signs that it should be working. However, the technician did not show up on the day of appointment, and now I am stuck with no internet connection. Could anybody guide me through the installation process, please?
I also tried calling O2 helpline for a new appointment (several times) and I am sorry that I don't understand German. Is there any way to change the initial terminal voice to English or perhaps a short cut to speak to someone in English?

Moin Moin,
connect you PC to the HomeBox (yellow port).
Open the setup page http://o2.box
You see a Page that is checking the conditions.
If all is OK you could Klick on "Weiter".
Than you shuls assign a password for the O2 box. Klick on "Weiter".
Now you have to enter the PIN given from O2 by letter. Klick on "Weiter".
Than you have to enter Benutzernamen und Passwort. It schould be in the o2 letter.
Klick on "Weiter".
The next question could be answered with default. Klick on "Weiter".
The last screen could be closed with Beenden.

Dear Schluej,

Thank you for your response. I tried what you suggested, and I get the following message :
"Status der Aktivierunghttp://o2.box/no.jpg Hinweis: Bitte überprüfen Sie die Verkabelung Ihrer o2 HomeBox"

I checked all the cables and connections. The leds in WLAN, LAN and DSL ports are glowing, but still I do not have any internet. I guess, everything is not okay!
The good news though is, I did manage to get another appointment with the technician.
I hope, this time he shows up.

the box is pluged direct in the phone plug?
No splitter in the line?
Than call the hotline...

@o2_Christian No, I have not tried (to be honest). I guess, it's up to the technician now. It seems O2 had some trouble contacting me earlier. Now I am being updated regularly which is much better. Thanks for the message though.
