Ordering DSL router, DSL already order

Hi,
I ordered a DSL internet. But mistakenly didn't include the router in the order. I already got the appointment for the connection on 7th March.
Is it now possible for me to order the o2 home box? What can I do to order the router? I don't want to postpone the appointment.

Hi o3dsluser,
if you'd like to order a router later on you will have to contact us here or the customer service by phone.
We also offer the Fritzbox 7490 by monthly rental costs of 3,99 EUR in addition to your basic charge. The router has to be returned after the contract is finished.Just for your information.

    I strongly prefer not to order the O2 Box (to much problems by strong use) I prefer a Fritzbox router model 74XX/75XX.
    if you need more information make a post here. And don’t buy a black used Fritzbox. It’s a provider router and I don’t know If you can setup the sip connection correct.

    I would like to know how can I order a router. Because I ordered DSL without router. But I cannot find a way in o2's website to order the router only.

    You can order a Fritzbox router at www.routermiete.de. It’s much cheaper than from O2. You have already your DSL Username and password from the O2 Willkommens E-Mail.

    Is it easy to setup the router if I buy from routermiete? In previous post, you said not to buy used router.

    it is easy to setup the Fritzbox. I will say more easy than a O2 Box. You can buy a used Fritzbox, but only buy a 7430 / 7490 in red color or 7530 / 7590 in white/red color. If you buy an older one like 7390 or in black color (Provider Router 1und1) these router don’t setup the phone line (Sip) automatical.
