O2 DSL activation

Hello,

I have moved to new flat so asked O2 for change of my address/connection at new flat. O2 have given activation date. Is appointment with Technicial is mandatory to have? O2 charges 50 euros for this. I do not want any assistance to check my connection because i checked by myself, line is fine but is it needs to be activated.

Is this activation cant be done remotely? Is technicial needed to activate this line?

Hi,

unfortunately the appointment with the technician is necessary. It has nothing to do with the connection itself, he has to reopen the port in the main distribution box and in your household distribution. Therefore the fee of 50 EUR is charged.

By the way: you don't have to be at home personally it is enough if somebody can open the door to your flat.
