Need some help with DSL connection.

Hello!

I would appreciate any help, I can't get internet access via DSL line - modem 6431.

 

I received e-mail with info that internet should be active since yesterday, moreover we received yesterday call from tech that line should be active.

 

So..

Everything seem to be connected properly.. I even have checked TAE socket on wall (2 cables connected to first two ports, I reconnected it). 

 

Power LAN1, WLAN, DSL leds/lights are solid/blinking, Internet led is dead/off.

 

At this point modem is pingable but seem to not communicating with aDSL/chassis... on start up application its spinning around on:

..and thats all. Powercycling, resetting to defaults (yea i know, but i was trying everything), reconnecting doing nothing.

 

When we called support this morning some rude agent told us to wait another few hours...

 

Any ideas what now? I don't speak German so its quite hard to get assist from o2..

is the DSL LED still blinking?

Yes, its blinking. 

 

Sometimes faster, sometimes slower but it never stop.

 

I spoke yesterday with o2 support (I got some great agent Wolfgang if I good remember) and we confirmed that signal is to weak. He offered tech to verify it around my flat.

 

I guess now I just need to wait...

Yes. You have to wait. Could be possible that we have to arrange a new tecnician visit.
