DSL not activated

Hello,

I ordered a DSL contract and a technician worker came yesterday to activate the DSL. I also received the email from O2 yesterday saying the DSL is successfully activated. But until now, I still do not have any internet access.

I am sure I connected all the lines correctly, but the DSL-light on the router is just slowly flashing. When I connect my computer to the router, the start page says: "Bitte überprüfen Sie die Verkabelung Ihrer o2 Homebox". I tried reconnecting, restart and reset, but it is still not working.

The problem is the same as described in the following link:
https://hilfe.o2online.de/english-o2-community-43/dsl-is-not-activated-after-installation-477474

Can you help me?

Best regards.

Hello tomfei,
if you already tried resetting the Homebox and made sure that all cables are firmly connected to the corresponding plugs and that there is no additional hardware or cable between the wall plug and the DSL router I recommend to contact the technical DSL hotline while you are at home, If you do not speak any german at all I recommend to call with a friend of yours who does so.
Even if this may seem the same as other issues described in other threads please contact the technical departement so that some things can be checked while you are on the phone.
Regards,
Lars
